about

🌍🌱

Gàia is a record centered around wide spaces, floating sounds, iridescent harmonies and blended timbres.
The creation of the album started something like throwing a bucket of water on a canvas (ok, it would be a bit crazy...): you loose the details and the shapes, but you have a strange and dreamy mix of the same colours of the original painting, with a similar overall chromatic sensation, ready to be reused for something new.

So it started like this, reworking old tapes, reverberating, echoing, distorting, saturating, cutting and gluing, with superimposing harmonies floating in wide soundscapes. Then other things were added, and the resulting sounds evoked in me a nuanced idea of natural forces doing their things (you know, glaciers paving the way for future valleys, the rising of the sun, light spreading, waving waters, the earth doing its path in the cosmos, things like these...), so final titles and cover reflect this.

I'm happy of what this project has become, and I feel it can be a good trip to do headphones on ;)

So enjoy the voyage, and I hope that it will make you feel good, relaxed wherever you feel best!

Thanks for all!
